Part 3: Track it, file it, get paid. The receipt rules (what counts and what gets thrown out), a receipt register, a spending tracker by category and a guide to filing the DD 1351-2 travel voucher. The "expected vs. actually paid" worksheet is where most short payments get caught. There's also a step-by-step plan, with a dispute log, for when a payment is short, wrong or late.

The kit opens with a one-page Money at a Glance summary you can hand to your spouse. It closes with a master document checklist and a glossary of every acronym in the kit. Every rate is cited to its regulation and dated (verified August 2026), so you know exactly what to confirm with your finance office before you file.
