Hi! I'm Megan!

I was named the 2020 military.com Spouse Changemaker of the Year, and the 2020 Armed Forces Insurance Red River Army Depot Military Spouse of the Year for my advocacy work on Permanent Change of Station (PCS) reform for military families to improve the process for when they have to relocate from one duty station to another.

During the past 5 years I have worked tirelessly on this effort,  been able to work with Congress on language for the 2020 NDAA, US Transportation Command to implement 10 initiatives into the process to benefit families, and also with the moving industry and associations to discuss the pain points that military families experience during each PCS from my unique position of being both an Army Veteran and Military Spouse.

My work has gone on to impact every single service member who will experience a PCS at least once in their career, and up to 400,000 service members who relocate every year. During this pandemic time, I have had a hand in helping to disseminate information between the military authorities and families through my affiliated military PCS Facebook group which is the largest and fasting growing group of its kind. While doing all the advocacy work to support our military community, I continue to support my husband and his active duty military career of over 15 years as we currently reside at Red River Army Depot in Texas, and also caring for our three young children. I graduated from Centerville High School 2003, and University of Charleston West Virginia 2009.

When I am not working on PCS reform and educating the community, you will find me enjoying family activities such as hiking, traveling, and searching for the worlds best chocolate!
